Toiling in the dust, pecking at the millet fields. It seeks food to feed its mother, yet its own hunger remains unfulfilled. The master despises the kind crow, orders his son to craft a slingshot. The string is made of Kuaiji bamboo, the pellet of Jingshan copper. The kind crow seeks food for its mother, flies into your courtyard. Before it can eat a few grains, a pellet strikes its chest. It cries out to the heavens, as if pleading with the vast sky. Its days of feeding its mother are not enough, not out of self-preservation. Who can uphold this injustice, and question the creator?
