If one does not understand the past and present, they are like oxen and horses wearing human clothes. Acting in injustice, how can one expect much fame? When autumn rains clear, a fresh coolness enters the outskirts. The lamplight is somewhat dear, the scrolls can be rolled and unrolled. Do you not think of it morning and night, cherishing the time you have? Favor and duty may clash, so I write this poem to urge you to hesitate.
