Poverty or prosperity lies in heaven, while worries and joys are up to oneself. Therefore, the wise discard the former and embrace the latter. Do not fret about wealth or status, for longevity and contentment are true blessings. A simple meal and a warm bed are enough; all else is superfluous. One who has no children need not hoard gold. Source from 'Wine' by Bai Juyi.
