In death, there is regret, and where does true sincerity lie? Alas, I have little use for the times, my lifelong ambition is in the forests and villages. Though I cherish the mountains and waters, I dare not aspire to the abode of the wise. Clear springs wind around my home, tall bamboos shade my courtyard. The secluded path is dense with pine canopies, the small pond is adorned with lotus leaves. Always there are good birds, and recently, fish leap. The Shaoshi Mountain reflects the rivers and lands, the Minggao echoes against my humble abode. Zhang and He, my old colleagues, encourage me in my humble carriage.
