Who shaped the work of creation, carving this celestial pool? Vastness engulfs all valleys, flowing endlessly in all directions. At the edge of chaos, I glimpse the roots of heaven and earth. The sun rises from within, as if the Fusang tree can be touched. Beyond the distant Penglai peaks, I imagine the golden platform. The Qin emperor once passed here, ascending in hopes of flight. Raising banners, a hundred deities gather, as mountains rush towards the sun. Xu Fu’s quest came to naught, and the immortals’ promises were empty.
